Trusting in God and Faithfulness
The Christian schools in Masatepe and Santa Teresa are regarded as role models in their communities. Teachers and students enjoy attending classes. In the schoolyard, you can see and hear children laughing, singing, and playing. Their interactions are marked by respect and love for one another. This is rooted in Christian values, prayer, and a shared commitment to serving the children.
The teaching staff consists of about 60 people and supports approximately 1,200 students at both locations. The staff meets regularly for devotions to hear God's Word, share experiences, and pray for the children. Alongside many encouraging developments, there are also challenging situations.
Recently, the team had to cope with a tragic loss. A student fell victim to a violent crime just days before her prom. The shock was profound. Nevertheless, the teachers and our partners remain committed to their mission. The school motto, “Jesus is faithful,” is more than just a guiding principle for them. It shapes their actions and provides them with direction, even in difficult times.
