Violence in Northern India
“When we recently gathered one evening in a small village in northern India, about 100 Christians from various villages came together to share communion. It was a sacred moment of worship and unity. But suddenly, the forces of darkness tried to disrupt God's work.
Around 10 p.m., a group of radicals forcibly broke into our gathering. They began brutally beating our brothers and sisters and specifically searched for us, Simon and Paulus.
In that critical moment, our brothers and sisters courageously hid us in a small room and locked it from the outside. What followed was heartbreaking—crying, screams, and pain filled the night. And yet, even in their fear, our brothers and sisters remained steadfast in their faith.
Finally, the police arrived. After nearly two hours of tension, questioning, and chaos, the situation calmed down, and the attackers withdrew. In the middle of the night, we made our way to a safer place. With a heavy yet hopeful heart, I ask for your heartfelt prayers for our ministry here in North India.”
