New Leases on Life

INDIA
Amid persecution in the Indian capital of Delhi and widespread poverty in some neighborhoods, our Indian partners are carrying out many projects: the Life Center (computer courses) and Kidz City (daycare for children). Their commitment has visible results.

Mala is a computer teacher at the Life Center. Her son suffered from a severe intestinal infection accompanied by intense pain. Despite numerous tests, the doctors were unable to determine the cause of his suffering. Eventually, they recommended surgery. At the same time, they warned the family that his chances of survival were extremely slim.

In their great distress, Mala, her family, her church community, and the staff at the Life Center turned to God in prayer and asked Him to intervene. During the surgery, the doctors discovered a perforation in the intestine through which the infection had spread throughout the entire abdominal cavity. Afterward, the boy had to take a break from school and remain in bed. However, he recovered remarkably quickly and made a full recovery.

Peace at Last

Thanks to the safe, loving, and supportive environment at Kidz City, the student Aiza experienced very positive developments. At the same time, her mother, a Muslim woman, was suffering from ongoing family conflicts. During this difficult time, she heard about our partners' church. Despite resistance from her family, she courageously decided to visit. There, she experienced a deep sense of peace—something she had longed for for a long time. She returned and has been receiving support from the church ever since. Together, they pray for healing and restoration in her life.

Amazing Progress

When Aradhya first came to Kidz City, she could neither speak nor walk. No treatment or therapy had brought any improvement. She struggled to stay engaged in class and relied on constant, individualized care. The teachers prayed for her regularly, anointed her with oil, and cared for her with great patience and devotion. Over the course of a year, her condition began to change: Aradhya gradually started to speak and became increasingly attentive in class. Her progress even amazed the doctors. Today, Aradhya attends kindergarten and has grown into a cheerful, self-confident, and enthusiastic girl.
